The main idea behind our "Terms & Conditions" page is to clearly communicate the expectations Pacific Airways VA has for anyone accessing our systems. This policy is crucial for facilitating smooth and respectful interactions between our users, including both pilots and staff.
Pacific Airways (PAY) maintains informational systems for the use of its pilots and staff. The purpose of these systems is to facilitate the exchange of information within Pacific Airways and with those whom Pacific Airways interacts. Users are granted access to these systems consistent with the requirements of their positions within Pacific Airways and are expected to use them in accordance with these Terms of Service. By outlining these terms, we aim to ensure a consistent and positive experience for everyone in our community, fostering a respectful and collaborative environment.

Discord server communication
Pilots and staff can communicate using our Discord message board system, which supports both audio and video. Discussions may cover flight simulation, topics beyond Pacific Airways business, and general aviation issues. However, it is essential to remember that our audience varies in age, including minors. Therefore, discretion must be used when making comments or posting topics to maintain a respectful environment for all members.
VATSIM channel usage
Pacific Airways maintains its own VATSIM channel (128.95) for our pilots to communicate with each other while flying online. Similar to our Discord server, participants of all ages may access this channel, and discretion should always be used to ensure appropriate communication.
Our systems: expectations and proper use
When you join Pacific Airways VA, we expect a mutual understanding of rights and responsibilities. Here's what you can expect from us and what we expect from you:
Ownership of Pacific Airways systems
All systems, including but not limited to websites, forums, Discord, VATSIM channels, and aircraft, are the property of Pacific Airways. These systems are intended for use in serving the interests of Pacific Airways pilots and staff members. Any improper use of said systems is strictly unacceptable.
Proper use of systems
Pacific Airways systems are not to be used for accessing, transmitting, retrieving, or storing any data or communications that are discriminatory or harassing in nature, or material that is offensive or of a sexual nature. Pacific Airways will not tolerate misconduct involving harassment of any kind. No messages (including pictures, images, text, or video) containing derogatory or inflammatory remarks about an individual's race, colour, religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, national origin, citizenship, veteran status, marital status, physical, or mental disability shall be transmitted in any way. Abusive or profane language is also prohibited.
